Earlier today the mom confided in me that she kept thinking we were going to Mchenry when we were going to Harvey. Then no more than ten seconds later we rode by a building that said in huge print across the front "Mchenry Coop". Hilarious.

A perfect day
We rode 77 perfect miles today. Strong tailwinds, bluebird skies, and just the right temperature. We even started the day with gorillas and donuts. When we arrived in Harvey, there was one other tent set up in the campground. It had a Surly parked next to it with panniers. We went out to lunch/dinner with the girl from the campground (Shauna) and learned she is riding from New Hampshire to Seattle. We did laundry in town and when we arrived back at the campground there was a guy and his dad setting up camp in a van/camper. The guy was riding from Duluth to Seattle and his dad is his sag wagon. That sure must be nice! Weird that the only three parties at this campground are bicyclists. I think the mom alienated us from the guy and dad when she told them we were cheering for the Bruins (they were Canadian). Good thing we had already borrowed their floor pump!
