A great day on the road

We woke up this morning to a delicious breakfast that Gail had prepared us. Thanks Gail! Today the weather was perfect. High sixties with a strong tailwind. We pedaled out of Hood River up our first climb of the day, surprised by how fresh both of us felt. The day only continued to get better a we coasted effortlessly along enjoying the awesome tailwind. We arrived in Biggs Oregon at around 3:30 after 52 miles riding and decided to set up camp before walking to a diner to get some great diner food. The scenery today was beautiful as the landscape shifted from the jungle of the Columbia River Gorge to the high desert. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures with my phone and only have them on my real camera! Tomorrow we will make sure to get some shots on the phone. Our plan is to try to make it to Plymouth tomorrow. It is about 80 miles so if we can't make it that far we will stop at a different campground along the way.
